Greenzo Energy reinforces position as leading homegrown hydrogen technology partner following 472-tonne hydrogen plant order
Greenzo Energy India has been contracted to deliver a green hydrogen plant with an annual designed capacity of 472,409 kg for the Jindal Stainless (JSL) Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex in Jajpur, Odisha.
The project, to be delivered within six months of contract signing, will initially produce 0.47 kilo tonnes per annum (KTPA) of green hydrogen annually and can be scaled up to 1.5 KTPA. The hydrogen will be used in stainless steel production processes.

Greenzo will provide the electrolyser system, including balance of plant equipment, assembly, installation, and commissioning. It will also provide 30 days of on-site training and 11 months of virtual support to JSL’s technical team.
Sandeep Agarwal, Managing Director of Greenzo Energy India, said: “The trust shown by Jindal Stainless further reinforces Greenzo’s position as a leading homegrown hydrogen technology partner.”
The electrolyser will be equipped with SCADA and AI-based automation for real-time optimisation and predictive diagnostics.
Greenzo said the collaboration strengthens its hydrogen technology portfolio while supporting JSL’s efforts to decarbonise stainless steel production in line with India’s net-zero targets.
